Fabs only 2 short weeks until Valentine’s Day – can you stand the excitement? I’m kicking off the countdown by building a Valentine’s day playlist for the big night.

First up are two of my faves – Amerie’s “Why Don’t We Fall in Love?” and Robin Thicke’s “The Sweetest Love”.

I love Amerie; her voice on this song is killer and the video was a perfect slice of NYC romance.

Robin Thicke is one of my fave crooners and has done wonders for people’s perceptions of blue-eyed soul. This song in particular shines as an example of his ability to create a sense of musical intimacy with just a few chords and his beautiful voice.
