I just wanted to take a moment to address a story about my recent weight loss that began circulating today. This story led people to believe that I shed 25 lbs by not eating, which is completely ridiculous. I am a mother of three young children, two of whom are girls and I’m trying to raise them with a healthy body image. It’s taken me almost a year to lose close to 25 lbs and I did it through healthy diet and exercise. So yes, I’m a bit smaller, but still curvy and 100% healthy and proud of my body and the time it has taken me to undergo this personal journey for myself. I’m not one of those “superstar moms” who lost all their baby weight in a week. So, yes, I’m upset about the innuendo because I just can’t win. In the past year there have been numerous rumors about my weight — first I was attacked for being a size 10, now I’m anorexic? I’m a real woman and I represent real women. I believe that people are beautiful at any size, color or weight. The way this article was promoted is unfortunate — what a silly way to sensationalize a story, especially when you know young people will be reading it. There must be more accountability in reporting, especially considering the far reaching impact on girls and young women who are exposed to this kind of misleading information on a daily basis. What kind of example is that setting for them?

People take things WAY too serious and completely out of context.
I read the headline, “I Don’t Eat!”.
I was like, “Oh that Kimora! lol”
I KNOW you eat. I’ve watched Life In the Fab Lane. I can’t imagine you NOT eating. You don’t appear to be that desperate to be “skinny”.
I also know that anyone who loses weight by not eating will have saggies all over the place as a result. You’re body is tight and smooth. So the evidence of such is not there.
And while you’re a role model (and I LOVE you to the MAX) it is not YOUR responsibility to make sure our daughters grow up with a healthy image. We have so many images of things int he media, but at the end of the day, it’s those morals and values…the foundation that is set and continued in our children that goes a long way. Not a celeb who lost her baby-weight.
Anyways, don’t worry about the press, those who know how you are know that you aren’t doing anything crazy or unhealthy.
I Love everything about the Fab Kimora. Thank you for acknowledging the poor choices of the media. Sadly enough In todays society celebrities are role models to the youth. I have watched your show and see that you deal with stress the same way as other women…by eating. Granted you are not 200lbs, but its clear you are “normal” and your body represents that. Great job at losing the weight and in a healthy way!!!! You rock Kimmie! See you soon at the top!!! And you look better and happier than ever!!!
I luv your new look. As a wife, mother and business woman we all know it’ssomething you are very open about. We SEE the show. People began to take the show in a different direction than what you are sharing. Mother’s you know how much we gain initially in our trimesters, then after the children are here, we are trying every diet plan and exercise regimen we can find. It’s literally a 2 year PRODUCTION from start to end.. I THINK we are so use to you” KIMORA” putting on GREAT BIG PRODUCTIONS, that they think U need to help JENNY CRAIG’S PRODUCTION.
Keep it coming ,
GOD BLESS
Kimora Lee Simmons
There are so many idiots out there trying to make a quick buck. You know that. I’m sure it’s infuriating to have to deal with them making ridiculous allegations and then you have to set the record straight. smh Keep it moving. You look great and they’re jealous.
You look fabulous! Don ‘t let haters bring you down, I’m hoping to lose more than my baby weight.
