In a major step forward, Taylor Swift sparkled Zuhair Murad. She was sexy and statuesque in gold and I love the intricacy of the detailing as well as the dramatic open back.

Rihanna reigned in Armani – provocative but not too risque.

Adele’s Giorgio Armani gave an hourglass shape highlighted by sequins with a mesh overlay. Perfection.

I love when risks pay off for great people. Case in point: Corinne Bailey Rae in Christian Siriano’s black dress with a full bodied and dramatic skirt.

Finally, Kelly Osbourne’s glittery one-shoulder Tony Ward gown was figure flattering, chic and a fun way to honor the night’s nominees and winners.
