Chanel Haute Couture Show: My Fave Looks!

Hi Fabs! Just a quick style note – a few of my fave looks from the Chanel Haute Couture Show during Paris Fashion Week for Fall/Winter 2011/2012. Held in the Grand Palais, the runway show’s décor took inspiration from the sparkling capital’s Place Vendome – an homage to Coco Chanel.

Alexa Chung’s loyalty to Chanel shone through in her quintessentially Parisian mid-thigh LBD with flourish up top.

Diane Kruger was illuminating in an asymmetrical white gown with embellishment at the torso. The repeat of the print on the inner back – and along the binding – is a tell tale sign of the workmanship accompanying couture.

Japanese model Kiko Mizuhara’s chic but casual tribute to Chanel’s la vie pariesienne – complete with stripes, chain bag and jaunty hand-on-hip.

Listed as one of “the loyal” by Lagerfeld himself, Caroline Sieber added a touch of sheer opulence in a couture gown complete with floral embellishments.

French and Spanish actress Àstrid Bergès-Frisbey wore one of my favorite looks – fresh-faceed in a tweedy, sequined LWD (little white dress!) with shimmer, sparkle and a floral detail front-and-center. Monochromatic chic!

Did I leave anyone out? Who else do you think stole the show at Chanel?
