Toot toot! Beep beep! Fabs we’ve lost a legend. Donna Summer was so much more than a vocalist – she embodied an entire movement in our country’s history. The siren song of disco made us all want to dance and Donna Summer’s voice led the chorus. Who could forget her mew-kitty vocals and sex kitten costuming. She was an inspiration to many women and the face of an era. Donna Summer, we’ll never forget you…
Going POSTAL over Fashion!
Now here’s some postal Fabulosity that gets MY stamp of approval!
The Royal Mail launched a set of stamps celebrating famous UK designers known the world over. The stamps include Alexander McQueen, Ossie Clark and Vivienne Westwood. The stamps all have white backgrounds with fashion illustrations and sketches distinctive to each of the designers. I love these but I have to admit – I’m a little jealous we don’t have these in current circulation in the US.
